Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Richard [Dick] Knowles aka DK the DJ . I have been a professional DJ for the last 28 years of which the last thirteen have been spent here in Lanzarote. The last four years I have worked mainly as a wedding dj and karaoke host, having now provided the music/karaoke shows at over 275 Lanzarote wedding receptions. I have a VAST selection of music that I use when I am working live as a dj and it is no idle boast when I say that no other dj in Lanzarote comes anywhere even close to what I can offer you musically , no matter what they may claim!!!!!!!! Jazz to rock n roll, loads of disco and funk, loads of reggae, masses of 80,s [very popular these days] The Bee Gees to George Michael, Abba to AC/DC. Trance,Dance, Hardcore, Swing ,Heavy Rock, and finally whatever is currently in the Charts. I have even got a collection of over 700 songs from the 1920,s digitally restored from the edison cylinders (just in case I ever get asked to do a charleston night). lol I always have something for everyone from every type of popular musical genre, and that is a guarantee. My new online event booking service is now ready to use. My site manager Simon has installed a totally new and much improved system that allows you to A. Check out if I am available to play at your event . B. Get an online qoute for the services that you require. C. Pay securely online via PAYPAL. D. Prebook all the music you would like to hear at your event by using my massive 69.000+ track database. You may even list tracks that you definitley DO NOT WISH TO HEAR and attach requests by using the attach note facility E. Browse through my Karaoke book. Using the music search box just click on the filter button and select Karaoke. If you wish to have karaoke as part of your nights entertainment you can even look through with your guests and Pre Book the songs. Then by using the attach note facility you can send me a list of who wants to sing what, so that when you want me to start the Karaoke on the night I already know who to call up and what song they want If there are any tracks that do not appear in the database for some reason, you may use the custom request button on the music browser to put in a special order. You may order as many as neccesary. KARAOKE DISCO CRUISE PARTY Why not really celebrate in style and have your very own private wedding or birthday party on board a luxury yacht. The ultimate occasion. Many options are available, far too many to list here. Look in event packages to see basic info or use the contact button to ask for more info. This event package is NOT available on Tuesdays or Saturdays. Karaoke is really great fun at a wedding or other family event. A rare occasion for all the family to get up and sing together. Combine this with a disco and you have a great fun night. I can also provide a 2 hour vocal show myself if you wish as I also work as a vocalist. I sing everything from The Eagles and Billy Joel to Frank Sinatra and Elton John, as well as Deacon Blue, Joe Cocker and Garth Brooks to name but a few. The difference with my vocal show is that YOU choose all the songs I sing from a list that I provide of all the songs that I am able to perform Also new for 2008/9 is my new music video show. When you ask for Abba Dancing Queen for instance, you will now be able to see some of them on the big screen as well. As this is a new feature I don,t have everything at present. Perhaps you would like to have live music at your reception as well as a dj ,in which case I will also be able to help. THE NEW WEDDING BAND. The Wedding Band are a group of professional musicians who have got together specifically to provide entertainment at wedding receptions here in Lanzarote, due to the ever increasing demand for quality live music. Having known several members of this band for well over 10 years and worked with them as individuals on many many occasions, I can guarantee you that as a live act they will be second to none.
