Please allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Richard [Dick] Knowles aka DK the DJ .

I have been a professional DJ for the last 27 years of which the last thirteen have been spent here in Lanzarote. 

The last  four years I have worked solely as a wedding dj and  karaoke host, having now provided the music/karaoke shows at over 250 Lanzarote  Wedding receptions

When I am working as a dj I have a HUGE music catalogue. I have everything from

 I always have something for everyone from every type of popular musical genre, and that is a guarantee.

My new online music ordering service is now  ready to use. My site manager Simon has spent the last 4 months databasing my entire music catalogue [all 205 gigabytes of it] and  you can now   pre order the music you would like to hear at your wedding or other function. Press the  news button on main menu for information on how to use this service. There are without doubt a few gliches that will need sorting out with this service  as it has only just gone live  ,so any feedback from you would be greatly appreciated regarding errors we may have overlooked, and ease of use etc.

  You will need to register with my site if you are  actually going to use this facility to send me a playlist.  It is very  simple to do this. Just hit the register button and fill a few simple details in.This is ONLY  for e mail purposes to ensure that your playlist is e mailed back to you and so that I personally have your contact details to discuss your event. Your details will NOT under any circumstances be passed on to any other party. If you wish to browse through my catalogue without  registering please fee free to do so.

If you want a themed evening or have a particular set ,or track   that is not listed , all you have to do is email me with the details.  I still have 1000,s of tracks to add in. As long as its not too obscure I should be able to source it for you prior to your booking my show.

Karaoke can be really great fun at a wedding. A rare occasion for all the family to get up and sing together. I have the most up to date computerized karaoke system with all the words projected on to a big screen. The best thing is NO more messing about with pens ,paper and silly bits of paper. I make sure everyone gets to sing what they want.

Also new for 2008/9 is my new music video show. When you ask for Abba Dancing Queen for instance, you will now be able to see them on the big screen as well.

Perhaps you would like to have live music at your reception as well as a dj ,in which case I will also be able to help. Having lived here for 13 years I am in contact with many of the islands top entertainers .
